A few little details
We’re here to help you feel comfortable with your choice.
What is the difference between the two?
+
The extensions manicure uses Gel-X tips or builder gel to add length over your own nail. Hard gel is a stronger gel built over tips, shaped for long wear.
How long do hard gel extensions last?
+
Up to four weeks, and they can be refilled every four weeks or so.
How are they removed?
+
Hard gel has to be filed off. It cannot be soaked off, so please come back to us rather than trying to remove it at home.
Can I go very long?
+
Yes, though extra-long extensions take more time and can change the price. Call the studio if you are not sure.
Why does it cost what it does?
+
Your appointment is a time slot set aside for you, not a slot we hope to get you through. That is most of the difference.
The rest is the preparation and the products: trained technicians, tools sterilised in a medical-grade autoclave between clients, and brands we choose for how they treat your nails rather than what they cost us.
